Recovery...

I'm finally back! After almost a week of sickness - my system is back on track! However, I'm in that weird limbo between ill health and normalcy. Right now my body is so full of paracetomol, amoxycillin and god-knows-what-else that if I died today, I wouldn't biodegrade till 2010. But that's ok, anything's better than the bugs right?

Anyway, watched a TV special called Secrets of the Street Magician Revealed - or some such. And boy, do these things make you feel STUPID! I challenge you to sit through one of these telecasts and not go, "now why didn't I think of that?"

Speaking of magic, have you ever seen the advertisements on TV that sell stuff like a weird heating belt that'll make you lose weight? Boy, that's some magic there! What I cannot understand is, if it were really that simple to look like Halle Berry, wouldn't we all look like her all the time? Who would EVER go to the gym? Why would we EVER diet? Would health food have ever been invented and inflicted upon us mere mortals?

As you can see, I've been glued to the TV due to my illness and I think I've seriously become dumber. I think the meds have killed some neurons and the TV has zapped a few more. No wonder I feel light headed…
