RELAPSE!!

Just when I thought that I was feeling better… a little traveling brought on a relapse with a vengeance. After an unpleasant trip to the hospital, and a million more antibiotics later, I’ve totally lost my appetite and I have weird and very vivid thoughts of dying. But other than that, at least I can sit up enough to type this out.

It really didn’t help that the only reading material I carried with me was Tuesdays with Morrie. A book about a dying professor and his conversations with a student. While the book itself is alright, the colourful descriptions of the illness is something that I would seriously NOT recommend to people who are ill and thinking of dying themselves.

About the book, I didn’t like it too much. I don’t know what the big deal is. The book is a bit awkward and not that philosophical. The deepest thing you get from that book is that you’re going to die some day and you better get used to the idea! Deep? Although my judgment of the book has been seriously marred by my illness; I doubt I’d ever like a book that’s more about a person than the lesson.

Wow. Bad time on the health front I see.

It happens though.. to all of us. At the wrong times I may add.

That book sounds dull as hell.

Aww, poor you! That was one scathing review!! You sound appropriately pissed off! The last time this happened to me was when I picked up "Waiting" by a guy called Ha Jin. The book talks about waiting in general. Like all your life. Yeah, that's about it. All 500 pages of it. The guy won a Nobel for it. :| Who, me, judge?!
